What if my order doesn’t fit me right?
Shaw&Co. offers up to a $50 alterations credit in the instance your suit does not fit you perfectly. Simply take it to your local tailor to fix, and send us the bill. Moreover, if the suit is considered unalterable, we will remake the suit entirely. Please see our Perfect Fit Guarantee for further information.
What if the fabric or style I ordered is not correct?
If the fabric or style ordered is not correct, or there are any discrepancies between what you ordered and what was delivered then you are entitled to an alteration credit or remake as outlined in our Perfect Fit Guarantee page.
Can I request a fabric or style you don’t offer online?
Of Course! We try to provide the most popular fabrics and styles; however, we can’t please every taste. As a result, we are happy to try and meet your unique needs. Simply send us an email to
sales@shawtailors.com and one of our sales associates will try and accommodate your needs.
Can I see a sample of the material?
Yes. Samples can be requested by email. Often the sample request takes a few weeks to be received and shipping charges may apply.
How/where should I get measured?
All measurements need to be taken in accordance with our measurement profile form. These measurements allow our tailors to deliver the best results with the fewest measurements. Please note that there is a printable version of the measurement profiles available.
For best results, we recommend that you print off the measurement guide and get a friend to follow it exactly. We often find that local tailors will not follow the guide accurately or have their own measuring styles.
Do you make Women’s Suits?
Yes, we do make women's suits; however, we only offer this service through our sales reps directly and not online.
How long will it take to receive my Suit and/or Shirt?
We are proud to say that Shaw&Co. Tailors offers the fastest order times in the industry. All orders arrive in 2-4 weeks. See our Shipping page for more information.
How can I pay for my Suit?
Payment is all done online once your order is placed. We accept Credit Cards, Paypal, and e-checks. All payments are done through a secure PayPal link; however, it is not necessary to be a PayPal member in order to pay.
Why are prices in USD?
Despite being a Canadian company, our partners deal only in American dollars. Therefore, in order to offer constant prices for our suits and shirts, we need to sell in American dollars.
How much is Shipping and Handling?
Free. We do not charge for shipping and handling.
Does Shaw&Co. Tailors ship to customers outside of North America?
Yes, we ship worldwide.
Does Shaw&Co. Tailors keep my measurements for my next order?
Yes. Once you register online your information (including measurements) are kept on our database to make future purchases very easy.
Is my information secure?
Yes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy regarding the collection by Shaw&Co. Tailors of any personal and confidential information. Furthermore, all payments are made through a highly secure network provided by PayPal.
